Uniquely, our 4 Week Karate-Self Defence-Fitness Beginners Course has its own dedicated Black Belt instructor. Also, you are taught separately from the main class, with everything explained very simply, in English at an easy pace for the duration of the course.
Furthermore, once you have completed the 4 Week Beginners Course, you can decide if you want to continue your training in our classes.
We offer a once-per-week training option on either a Monday, Tuesday or a Wednesday evening. (Time: 8.00pm-9.00pm).
TRAINING IN OUR CLASSES
As a matter of fact, Martial Arts is a great activity for adults who want to stay healthy. Equally importantly, our really enjoyable classes have a safe training environment, with a wonderful mix of men and women of all ages.
There are many reasons to exercise regularly. Above all, our classes will keep you healthy with lessons that are always great fun and never boring.
It’s never to late to start training in the martial arts. Uniquely, many of our students are in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Furthermore, never worry or think that you are not fit or flexible enough to start your training.
THE MARTIAL ARTS WE TEACH
East West Martial Arts specializes in teaching practical Karate and Self-Defence, which is based on the very best of over 40 years of training in the Martial Arts.
The Karate system that we teach is based on the highly practical Japanese ‘Wado Ryu’ style of Karate, which translated means ‘Way of Peace & Harmony’. In addition, our training features reality based Self-Defence training, designed to deal with the most common street assaults and attacks happening in the U.K today.
We realise that we have a vital responsibility to ensure that our students can actually use what they learn in our classes, as everyone knows that street violence is unfortunately on the increase.
Of course, the challenge is that we can never know when a student may be forced to apply their skills. It could occur today, tomorrow, next week, next year, or never. That makes it our instructor’s responsibility to make every student as competent as possible in their training to deal with sudden violence if it ever occurs.
